Great video ❤ I think you should get some custom HEL Performance braided brake lines on that Mazda 3 next. I did for my 323 and highly recommend it. I normally rotor swap after 2yrs with 1 regrind at first pad swap. I'll be using EBC street performance rotors and EBC Green Stuff brake pads as my car is showing signs of shake when braking too. A slight chamber adjustment might also take place.

For the brake rotors is there any adhesive put on them to keep them in place or do you just slide them on then put the calipers back on

Also one thing I love and I've noticed about Mazda 3 brakes is that they last so damn long. Rotors and pads. I bought my front brakes like 3 years ago and they're still like I wanna say 10mm thick. And rear is roughly the same. And sometimes I'm hard on the brakes. I mean hella hard when ever I do pulls and I'm coming up on on-coming traffic. Stock Mazda 3 brakes ain't bad. One day I might do bigger brakes, though it doesn't make serious power so I feel it's not necessary and the stick ones are fine with premium pads and rotors

I was about to watch a montages of 5.9 cummins start ups and then I seen you didn't change your pads/rotors in 8 years n I'm like wtf, click. Or I guess tap since I tapped it on my phone and linked it to my TV

Great video as always, been running stock pads and calipers for the last seven years, would love to get an aftermarket set that can fit the stock 18 inch wheel.

Had a Mazda 3 as a beater and it would let me downshift into first gear 🤣 never try it on other cars but it was so fkn slow that it’ll rev match into first for a so ball pull. Abused that car as it was a beater winter car

question looking at picking up a 2007 Mazda 3 for $500 saving it from the junk yard it runs and shifts just had a clutch put in but the owner says it wont run up past 3rd gear. Could that be because of a limp mode. they said it does have a check engine light on so im sure that will tell the story. im betting its a dumb sensor possibly o2? thoughts? i think its a good buy though since it is doing the big things still….

Bro I’m doing my lower front control arms on my 2010 mazda3 and the sway bar bracket that sits on top of the LCA mounting point with a wingnut SUCKS. Trying to move it with a screwdriver, it’s pushed too far back now 🥴. First gen is better

How does the Mazda3 perform in the snow as a FWD sedan? This would be my only concern with buying one myself.
