When I got mine, it smelled really bad and it was super floppy when it was in neutral. I switched back to my stock shifter and it was much better to drive.

My 2010 doing similar shenanigans, definitely rust contributes to it. Maybe solid shifter bushings would help but it feels stiff already in the shifter.

Lol lowkey my suspension in my 3 is blown so I be having to drive like its lowered. If I go over a bump itll sometimes bounce like its on coilovers. And its stock setup. Problem is I never got around to it and I cant right now cause theres more pressing matters going on with the car right now.
